Transfor-market with REVIERateliers
The future of the region is shaped by people, initiatives, companies, organizations and municipalities. Universities can be platforms for mutual discussion. That is why RWTH invites players from different lifestyles in and around the Rhenish coal mining region to the Transfor-market: The aim is to work with researchers to explore perspectives on sustainable ecological, social and economic development in the region.
The discussions and workshops of the REVIERateliers take place in front of the university main building, in tents around Templergraben in Aachen. We invite you to look and discuss in a pre-Christmas mood with snacks, mulled wine and music! The event is planned and carried out in cooperation with the RWTH Knowledge Hub.

REVIERa 2021 and Knowledge Hub
For 2021, REVIERa has set itself the goal of further thinking about sustainable change in the region, giving research impulses and networking them. The living environments in the area are heard, seen and activated - and partners and co-creators are won over for the future of the region. The Knowledge Hub has been accompanying REVIERa since 2020, which has set itself the task of bringing knowledge into society and was founded as a measure of the Excellence Initiative. In its virtual kick-off event on Friday, September 24th 2021, it was explained why science needs to communicate.
