Discussing the Topology of Planning Theories with Prof. Dr. Meike Levin-Keitel and Lukas Behrend

+++ 07.02.2023 | 18:00 to 20:30 | Chair of Planning Theory +++

Have you ever pondered what thinking about planning does collaborative planning presuppose? Or what different forms of knowledge does this imply? What does the pragmatic planning approach mean in practice? And, which forms of knowledge are then required?

These questions are at the core of the book launch and discussion that the Chair of Planning Theory and Urban Development will be hosting on the evening of Tuesday, 7 February, 2023 with the authors of Die Topologie der Planungstheorien - Eine Systematisierung planerischen Wissens.

Jois us for an evening discussion on the motivations and reflections that inspired Prof. Dr. Meike Levin-Keitel (TU Dortmund) and Lukas Behrend (TU Berlin) to author their recently published book. Work coming out of this has also been recognised by the Association of European Schools of Planning and fresh insights on how planning can be better understood not just within our chair nor faculty, but broadly in research and practise.

Participation is limited and only possible for those who send an email indicating their interest.
